Not even a torrential downpour pushing festivities indoors could not dampen the Lawrence Spirit
LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (MONTH 2023)—Lawrence High School students displayed their resilience and determination by refusing to let the terrible rain dampen their school spirit as they successfully moved their pep rally indoors.
Despite the initial disappointment of having to change plans due to inclement weather, the students and staff of Lawrence High School quickly transformed their auditorium into a vibrant and energetic venue for their pep rally. “The Lawrence High School pep rally is a highly anticipated event for our entire community. Our annual outdoor football field tradition brings together our students, staff, alumni, and members of the Lawrence School District community to celebrate our athletic teams and showcase school spirit,” said Dr. Jennifer Lagnado-Papp, Principal of Lawrence High School. “This year was no exception. Everyone came together to create a memorable experience in spite of the change in venue.”
The auditorium transformation into a celebratory experience included school-colored banners, balloons, and streamers that created an exciting atmosphere filled with Lawrence High School spirit and energy. The school’s cheerleading squad, dance team, band, and athletes' performance had the audience cheering and clapping.
