Lawrence High School hosts Annual Culture Fest to Celebrate Diversity and Inclusion
LAWRENCE, NEW YORK – MARCH 24, 2022 – The Lawrence High School National Honor Society hosted their Annual Culture Fest last night at the Lawrence High School Café to celebrate the diverse cultures at the school.
Attendees immersed themselves in music, art, and cuisine from around the world including student performances from our cultural clubs, presentations on various students’ home countries, and photographs from both students and staff of their world travels. Students, staff, and community members were in attendance.
“Our school celebrates Multicultural Week every year with several events throughout the week to commemorate and honor the diversity represented within the Lawrence High School community,” said Dr. Lagnado-Papp, school principal.
“It is our mission to provide a diverse and inclusive environment for our students,” said the National Honor Society Advisor, Ms. McComsey. “And this is just one of the many events that unites students, staff, and our community as a whole.”
