LHS students celebrated National Civics Day with a trip to The Roosevelt School at Long Island University. Students were given a crisis and had to deliberate on the best way to respond.
CONGRATULATIONS to the boys varsity soccer team on their 2-1 victory over Floral Park!!!

The PTA and Ms. Bayeva organized and presented a beautiful breakfast for LHS seniors this morning. We are so appreciate for all of our families and faculty who do so much for our students.
We have all witnessed the horrific events in the Middle East. The Nassau County Police Department has been actively monitoring social media for any local threats. They are aware of online posts , NONE of which involve Nassau County, We thank the police department for keeping us informed. Dr. Pedersen

Tomorrow during school hours ( 2:20 pm) there is a FEMA alert that is going to be sent to all cell phones. You may want to mention this to your children so they are not startled. We will also speak to them tomorrow . It’s a nationwide test of the alert system.

Lawrence Families Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 26th the school district staff and children on Long Island are asked to WEAR GREEN as a sign on unity and compassion to the Farmingdale community impacted by the terrible bus accident.
