Please join us on May 22nd at 7:00PM in the LHS Auditorium for our annual Spring Concert featuring our wonderful Orchestra, Band, and Chorus. This will follow the Lawrence District Art Show Opening Reception which begins at 5:30pm. .


Good morning Lawrence Family,
Ms. Delguidice took our art classes to see the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn, NY. The museum features a diverse range of compositions from the 1980s through the present by creators who were based in the rough and tumble downtown area of New York City known as Loisaida/LES (Lower East Side/East Village) and close surrounding neighborhoods.
What a way to make our life COLORFUL!






Good Afternoon Lawrence Families! Please join us for our ANNUAL ART EXHIBITION at Lawrence High School Main Lobby from May 22nd to May 30th, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday through Friday ONLY). The art exhibit is composed of student's art work from K-12th grade.
Opening Reception is on May 22nd from 5:30 PM to 7:00PM. There will be snacks and soft drinks. This is an opportunity for students, friends, parents, and staff to mingle and have a good time.

We return to school from spring break on Wednesday, May 1st . There is still plenty of time in the school year to achieve your wildly important goals! I look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday for the final 39 school days of this year.

We are excited to announce that Lawrence Union Free School District has been chosen as one of the 975 school districts nationwide to receive acknowledgement towards their efforts in having Music Education be a large part of the learning opportunities given to our students. Lawrence has been truly dedicated to making music an impact on its students, giving them creativity, critical thinking and so much more! We continue to strive and bring joy to our Lawrence students throughout their educational journey here with us!


Ms. Rabanal and Ms. Weiner took our English Language Learners to see the Statue of Liberty Friday April 5, 2024. Despite the brisk winds, students were in awe of Lady Liberty!

Hello Lawrence Families. As part of the Cultural Week events, the Latin American Club will be hosting a Spanish language (with English subtitles) movie night on Tuesday, March 19 at 6:30 pm in the LHS Auditorium. Tickets for students are $5 in advance and $7at the door; for adults all tickets are $7. Drinks and snacks (including churros) will be available for purchase. Tickets will be available from Latin American Club members and Dr. Yochai this week, and Monday in the front lobby before school and during periods 1 and 5.
The feature film is:
Where the Tracks End, a Spanish-language film about a young boy named Ikal who learns and grows along with his friends in a rural town with a dedicated teacher.
