This week, our early childhood students participated in the successful "Donuts with Grownups" event, where they enjoyed decorating donuts with a special grown-up in their lives. Each student and their special guest each received a donut to decorate with various toppings, such as sprinkles, icing, and chocolate chips, fostering bonding through a fun activity.
We extend our gratitude to our PTA for organizing this event and to our Food Services coordinator for providing donuts, toppings, and breakfast for parents, including fruit, muffins, and coffee. Thank you to all teachers and support staff who came to school early to help with the event. A special thank you to Dunkin Donuts on Rockaway Turnpike (299 Burnside Avenue) for generously donating kosher donuts to our school. The children cherished this opportunity to spend quality time with their grown-ups. What a sweet treat!
