On Wednesday, February 5th, we celebrated World Read Aloud Day! Ten students from Lawrence High School’s National Honor Society came to LPS classrooms as guest readers. Our students then had an opportunity to ask the high schoolers questions. It was an awesome time for everyone!

We are so proud to share that more than 70 pieces of our students’ artwork is currently on display at the Long Island Children’s Museum. Their work will be on display throughout the month of February as part of the Community Gallery on the second floor. Thank you to our incredible, creative art teacher, Ms. Young, for all the opportunities she gives our students to artistically express themselves. Great job, artists!!
