Our physical education program at Lawrence Primary School keeps students actively engaged and teaches them how to make healthy lifestyle choices! Our physical education teachers Ms. Nelsen and Mr. McQuillan hold all our students accountable for engaging in demanding health and fitness activities.
Two third grade learners in Ms. Rasmussen's class are the recipients of this year's Nassau Zone Outstanding Education Award, which honors healthy and physically active students. This is an award on behalf of New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. Lawrence Primary School would like to congratulate Allison and Oscar on this accomplishment!
