https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RmzjCPQv3y8 A recommended daily 1/2 hour presentation by Mo Willems, children’s book author and Kennedy Center “ visiting artist”. There’s a calmness to his engaging message and he gently addresses some of the emotional feelings children and adults have at this time. Grab a paper and drawing instrument and doodle with Mo. Thank you all for doing your part by staying distant from one another at this time. Be well. Dr. Pedersen

Lawrence is very proud of all of our learners who are making routines for their day and spending time using the education resources available to them. Look on Lawrence.org under parent resources and see a grade by grade collection of great websites under “Distant Learning”. Much more information to come on live classes with your teachers and ways to keep advancing your skills from pre-K to grade 12.

Good Lawrence Families, I want to make you aware of two resources for you during this difficult time. The first is an email , FamilySupport@lawrence.org - Which will be answered by our psychologists in regard to any social emotions questions or concerns you have for your family. The second is a link to a document of online resources for children organized by grade level. It is found in the Lawrence.org website under parent resources. As we aim to provide continuity of learning we ask you to look at those resources. Live classes will begin as soon as we can. Wishing you all good health. Dr. Pedersen
